The best SF & Fantasy picture contest - "Liburnicon Heart" ♥
All of you who are dealing with amateur or professional fantasy and science fiction art are invited to be a part of our contest, and to win the first Liburnicon laureate - Liburnicon heART award.
The judging panel, made up from a list of Liburnicon Organizers and professional associates, will be choosing from the 30 works to be exposed at this year's Liburnicon. The vote will be held at the venue and the visitors will have the honor of choosing the best work. The top three places will receive a special prize (the prize will be given at the venue if the artists are coming to the festival or will be sent by post in case the author is not present).

The rules of the contest are: ...
• Only works that are original work of the author or illustrator can apply.
• It is strictly forbidden to send someone else's works (in case of detection of plagiarism, the competitor shall be disqualified from the contest).
• Authors can enter the contest with unlimited amount of their works.
• All works must be themed as science-fiction or fantasy.
• The works must contain the signature of the author.
• The works can be sent by an e-mail (liburnicon@kulturnifront.hr), by post (Udruga "Kulturni Front" – with a note: "Liburnicon HeART", Ulica G. Verdia 23, 51410 Opatija, Croatia) or can be brought to us in person by arrangement.
• If your work is sent by an e-mail, the image format must be. JPEG, .BMP, etc. (pictures can be scanned, photographed, etc.).
• In case your work can be found somewhere on the Web, please specify the site (please provide the author's proof)
• Our judging panel will choose the best 30 works.
• The works will be exhibited in a visible and large billboards at "R. K. Jeretov" Elementary school, on photo paper format A4
• Voting tickets will be given to each visitor at the entrance to the Convention
• Votes will be counted upon completion of the Festival, and the judging panel will declare a winner.
Application form must contain:
• Name and surname of the author
• Title of the work/s
• A brief biography of the author (year of birth, what he does, career, etc.)
• Personal site and some galleries on the web at which the author is present (optional!)
• Year when the work was created

The pictures we receive will not be copied or reproduced for commercial purposes, but chosen and an award-winning photos will be posted in our web gallery.
Organizer reserves the right to reject any reported work, if believed that it does not belong in the genre of fantasy / science fiction, or if the work does not comply with some basic racial, ethnic, moral and spiritual values.
